CODE OF USER CONDUCT:

1.  Please post all messages in plain text format and minimize the number of attachments that you send.
    The server enforces a strict message size limit of 768 KB.  If you have a file that you want/need
    others to see, please post it to a Web server and just send the URL in your posting.

2.  This list is intended for knowledge sharing purposes only.
    Posts by vendors soliciting sales or job recruiters posting announcements
    will result in that sender being removed permanently from the list. 

3.  Please remember that your message goes to many people.  Use good taste and common sense.

4.  Please, no flames!  Constructive comments, however, are gladly accepted.

5.  The depth of knowledge of the users of this list varies.  Please remember this and keep your messages concise.

6.  This list will be monitored by the chair of the group.  You will be removed from the list if your contributions
    are considered unprofessional. You may also be removed if there is a repeated problem in delivering mail
    to the account from which you have subscribed.

To post a message (after subscribing):
Simply send your message to "TechTips" at this domain (naisg.org).  It will be sent out to each member of the list.
If you reply to a list message, your reply will be posted to the list. If you want to reply only to the sender
of a message, you will have to send to his or her address.


DIGEST MODE
You can convert your subscription to digest mode by sending an email to "SubscribeTechTipsDigest" at this domain (naisg.org).
Send the message from the same account that you used to subscribe to this list.  In the body of the message, put the following command:
     set mode digest TechTips
You should then receive an automated response indicating success or failure.
(Note: Although you will be subscribed to digest mode, the list often fails to remove your address from the regular list mailings.
       Therefore, please send an email to chair at this domain dot org indicating that you just subscribed to digest mode and need
       to be removed from the standard list.)


PRIVACY
Your privacy is serious business. NAISG will not give the names or addresses of subscribers to this list to others,
and we have disabled the List Server LIST command so that people cannot get a list of subscribers from this server.
